I have an SD2SP2 which I have recently fitted to my Gamecube. I am running the latest version of Swiss but it only works intermittently.

it is a cheap Chinese clone SD2SP2 and the fit is quite loose. I can insert it can change from SD Gecko to SD2SP2 in Swiss and it works. I can then change back to SD Gecko and back again without touching the SD2SP2 and it does not work. If I then remove and reinsert it and switch again it works about 50% of the time.

I am not sure if I should: a) Add solder to the SD2SP2 to make it a more snug fit b) clean the serial port with isopropyl alcohol then tape in the SD2SP2 so it does not move c) Solder the SD2SP2 directly into the Gamecube permanently.

Answers on a postcard please. I am considering a) first...
