Hiya /r/Gamecube i need your help. (Third party controller improving)

Im one if these people that wanted a cheap gamecube controller. So i kind of picked up two cirka controllers from a local shop. Went to use. Original wii doesnt recognize them... however they worked in gamecube games and wii u games so no problem there. Now comes the real problem. The x button... this damn button is nearly unresponsive unless pressed a bit hard... is there anyway to improve the responsiveness on these third party controllers?
