So I was watching the Poppy Playtime Chapter two GT not live and I noticed something. Spoiler warning now.

Watching the videos, a lot of the wording implied that the games we play through the chapter were tests. Seemingly tests geared towards children. Along with Mommy mentioning that they would play the games once and never come back, the “foster initiative”, and Mommy being mentioned to look after the children, I definitely think these were meant to be tests. Each game tested something different, like intelligence or agility. What this has to do with the other experiments I’m unsure, but I just felt a need to point this out.
