I had never heard of Salad Fingers until about a month ago. I didn't know it existed until a friend told me to watch Matt's videos explaining it. This was after I was telling him about the theories Matt has made about the Matrix.
A couple of weeks later I watched the video and I was marveled at Mat's narrative and the background music, but the voice, SF's voice, I just want an hour long bucle of hearing SF talk.
SF's videos seemed a bit frightening, so I didn't watch them until a week or so later. They weren't so disturbing, after all. However, I found that the sound is different in the original SF videos than in the Film Theory videos. The voice in the original videos sound a bit trivial, or casual. In the FT videos the voice sounds enticing and soothing. I know, it's unusual to say that about SF, but that's how I feel. This last week alone I must have seen the videos about 30 times because I just want to hear the voice of SF.
It has had a few side effects, like weird dreams, but, other than that, it's very soothing to listen to those videos over and over again. Has anyone else noticed a difference in the audio quality in the original than in Matt's videos? Why does it seem so much better in Matt's videos?
