Is it just me or is anybody else getting super burnt out and/or have little to no energy for the store? I’m working the most I ever have with the store when my pay is absolute trash and corporate keeps trying old failed methods that my SL and I knew wouldn’t work. Customers are getting dumber and dumber and it’s painful at times to carry conversations.
Me: thanks for calling GameStop where we currently have PS5 bundles in stock! Customer: Hi, uh, yeah, uh y’all got any PS5’s?
They are trying old ideas that failed years ago and again finding out why it failed.
My morale and enjoyment of this job has been drained from me. I’m waiting on the right timing to leave but with new goals and individual performances being shared across the district, my performance is going to be blasted out to everyone else when I suck because the promotions suck too.
Sincerely, One Very Tired ASL
