I don’t know if you guys are happy to work on Easter, or never had any emotional attachment to the holiday, in which case I hope you had a nice slow day!
For myself however, this is the first year I haven’t had any family to celebrate with so I got scheduled to work 11-7. I get it, I understand, I also won’t turn down the hours.
But hearing people talk about how stuffed they are, parents coming in with happy children to buy Easter presents has really taken the wind out of my sails, and probably a lot of you guys too. I’m not too interested in being sad though, so to all my GameStop family,
Happy Easter! Or happy Sunday! You’re all loved and cared about, there’s life beyond sad holidays and things to be happy about.
