So Iāve worked here for around 5 months, and this has happened enough times for me to wonder if this is just a me thing, or if anyone else experiences it. Basically, someone comes in and justā¦ asks for money. Always different people. They give me some spiel about how theyāre homeless, how their child is sick, how they live in their car, etc. and I feel bad because like, I donāt want anyone to be in that situation, but what in the Reeseās peanut butter fuck do you want me to do about it? Do you think stores can just give out money with no repercussions? Imagine telling your boss āhey yeah sorry, this person came in today and needed money for their sick child so I gave them $100ā. Bruh we are not a charity lmao, I just donāt understand the mindset of these people. And I always feel like IāM the asshole for being like āNo sorry, unless youāre trading something in I cannot give you cashā. One time this dude even asked if I could give him a gift card instead. ????????? How is that going to help you, my guy? Just wanted to share my experience lol
