Done gambling
Post Body

These past few days have been terrible. But, on the bright side, it has opened my eyes to my gambling addiction.

I started gambling CS:GO skins on matches when I was younger and probably lost around $1000 or so then. But, I just recently started betting on sports about 2 months ago, first by depositing $1000. And I won a couple of bets along with losing here and there, but I somehow managed to get my account to $5000 over the few months. Not to mention the road getting there was an absolute roller coaster.

My initial goal was to withdraw everything at $2000, but after some risky bets and I was up to $5000 I finally tried to withdraw my money. The site I would use would take 24-48 hours to withdraw the money into my BTC wallet. So I requested the withdraw, but the next day I logged in saw my balance, and tried a few bets. This would lead me to make some losses which then got me to chase them with higher amounts.

Fast forward a few days, I'm down to $3000 and I'm tilted that I don't have the $5000 anymore and want that money as if it was mine. I put a couple hundred on a couple of parlays over a few days and they all don't hit (Orioles swept the Astros). So I'm absolutely tilted by now and I throw $2000 (luckily I couldn't bet more because I would of put everything) on the Clippers Suns game U232.5 live bet to almost recover everything and put me in a good spot to get my account to $5000. The total points scored would come out to 233. 1 freaking point.

Now, I'm devastated. I had $5000 tried to withdraw it but it would take days, which I have a feeling the site purposely does because they know most people will gamble it away by then. I even had my balance at $5000 for a day or two and it still didn't withdraw. I'm pissed at myself that I didn't have any self-control and I got greedy. I feel like trash and a big part of me wants to chase it and get my account back up to $5000, but I know it probably won't end well. I suck.
