Ramona Seven-Song, bardlock with college of swords and Fey ancestry, successfully channels the weave and decides it’s time to turn on the charm while standing in the middle of Gale’s former lover’s essence.

Big shout out to everyone who told me that bard dialogue would fit nicely into a romance arc progression- you were 100% correct! Using charisma to get out of situations or turn the tide of encounters resulted in very high approval early on, granting me a very satisfying weave scene.

It is very interesting how just running around with your OC and Gale makes the relationship process feel more “organic”; there were several instances where we would enter a new area or trigger a perception check and Ramona would make a comment which would be answered by Gale, almost like a conversation. There’s a ton of dialogue being revealed that I had no idea existed!

As far as role-playing goes, the idea of the group splitting up into pairs to explore the coast for a cure, reconnecting at each long rest, and occasionally roping in each other to help on dicey missions is working very smoothly, and has also afforded me at least medium approval with everyone!
