How do I stop the keyboard from appearing in Samsung notes?

It's so annoying. Every time I open my note to edit, it brings up the keyboard as the default tool even though I always write with the s-pen and never use it.

Use your S-pen to open notes and select the note you want to edit, or create a new note, and it will launch in pen mode. If you use your fingers, it will launch with keyboard input.
EDIT: You can also hover the S-pen over the home screen, press the button to open air view, press "new note" or "view all notes" and it will launch notes in pen mode.

Yeah, it's actually pretty intuitive software. It pops up the keyboard If it knows your using your fingers because it expects you to type, and it goes into draw mode if your using the S pen because it expects you to draw.
