Does anyone regularly use NFC tags with their S9+?

I used NFC stickers with my S3 and loved them. Then, when I got a Note 4, the NFC range was so weak that it was almost impossible to use, especially not with a case on.
I can't find much info on how strong the NFC is on the S9 . What have your experiences been?
