Troubleshooting my S8: Internet problems + Waking up randomly

I have a new Samsung Galaxy S8. I have noticed two issues with it and I'm hoping the hivemind can help figure them out.

The screen will turn itself on for no reason randomly. Sometimes a couple of times in a row.

2.YouTube videos will eventually stop being buffered if the screen is off. I should mention I have YouTube Red which allows me to play videos with the screen off and I had no issue with it on my S7. It's making me think the wi-fi is being put to sleep or the data transfer. Wi-Fi is actually set to always on even when the phone is sleeping.

Any thoughts? Do I have a lemon that needs replacing or are there new settings I'm not aware of?
