Hello all, Tech support question here: please let me know if this would be better posted somewhere else

Phone: Samsung S6 AtnT

Does anyone know where I can open and transfer the log files from my device to my computer? I am getting an error when downloading an update on my phone, and it looks like permission/error 7 when I boot to recovery mode, and I'd like to upload that file to show to other people to help figure it out. anyone know where i can get to that file in the OS, and not have to go to recovery mode? thanks! EDIT SPELLING
