Is there anyway to change the default size that one-handed mode shrinks your screen to?

With the most current version of Android, One-Handed Mode now defaults to a size that is too big to actually be used one-handed, so now it's less useful without taking extra steps.
Is there some way to change the default size without having to resize it every single time? If I do resize it, then activate OHM again, it'll stay that size but only for awhile. When I activate it again at some other time during the day, it reverts back to its original too-big size.
Is there anyway to fix this?
