Easter Sunday morning, a group text from family comes across. I can see it has 15 members. Only messages from 3 members of the group are showing up in the group chat. The rest are coming across as individual text messages, showing 'attachment' in italics beneath. Tapping into the individual messages there are images, I assume emojis, that are trying to download but do not. Each message contains two spinning circle Xs.

The original message sender I know is sending from a Galaxy S21, and the message is sent as an MMS message. Is this caused by the fact that 13 of the 16 members are iPhone users and the 3 that are appearing in the group are Android users? Is there a setting I can change to get rid of this?!

If this is how 6.1 is handling mms and sms combining, this will require some changes. Awful.
