So as you may recall, I handed in my fold cus it had a micro crack at the top and bottom of the crease, right in line with the middle dust bumpers,
Well despite having dropped more things to Samsung than you can poke a stick at from work and the fact that I know 90% of the guys on a first name basis,
They tried to say there's nothing wrong with the phone and sent it back, now the guy at the Samsung store is taking more detailed photos and sending it back again, absolute joke, the techs eyes must be drawn on ffs, this will now make it 2 weeks I've been without my 3k phone.
Edit: so on the second try I got a call telling me it won’t be covered but lucky me! I get the discounted once off screen replacement cost, I then asked to push ACL (the magic words in Australia meaning fix it or I will not go away, google it for more info) and she’s telling me it will take 10 days, probably will be rejected etc etc, luckily I recognised the name and voice on the phone and actually knew the lady I was talking to quite well from back in the day when I dropped in boat loads of phones for repair with a previous company, when we realised we were talking to each other we had a good laugh and catch up and basically she’s like “well of course I’ll try and get it covered, I’ll tell the guys I know you and your a big teach head and we’ll try and push it through quick”
If it weren’t for my years in IT and the fact that us girls in IT are rare and stick together, I genuinely would have been given the full run around on my 3k phone for a good month, trying to get a known fault fixed on a phone that Samsung themselves described as “in near mint condition “ on their last report. Genuinely very disappointed but thank god I know people on the inside spy music intensifies
