Best Gaki No Tsukai episodes to get my girlfriend into it?

I love Gaki No Tsukai and really wanted my girlfriend to watch it but it was very difficult finding an episode that she can really start off on. I started on earth defense force but for the majority of the beginning it's all inside jokes that you'd typically know if you watched the older episodes. If anyone can help me find out some older episodes (or some newer ones?) that'll be easier to understand and help her understand the coloured subtitles and all that jazz.
