Gaia alternative?

Any recommendations for an alternative to Gaia now they've gone to a subscription model?
I have used the offline maps for long overlanding trips where connection is impossible. I recently reinstalled the app only to discover it's become yet another subscription service.
I'm perfectly fine with an alternative that is a paid app or has paid maps. I'm not fine with subscriptions.
