Is not going to the gym as a deload week fine too?

20 years old, natural, Inhave done 3 deloads so far, the first one was what was suggested by most (doing less intensive half the reps etc)

And personally, did not wee the point of it, the 2 deloads afterwards I decided to not go for an entire week (while still keeping the protein intake ofcourse)

So far everytime after the deload I felt much better by just not going for a week, so it works for me but how doesnit translate in science?

Is it good? Bad? Personal/subjective?

(If anyone wonders what my schedule is I got 6 times a week to the gym, customized push pull legs (legs 1.5x a week so one day heavy, other day lower)
