Anyone know the best way to take gym pics?

I use an IPhone X and the camera quality is so awful when I zoom in and it becomes all pixely. Anyone have tips on how to fix it or a good cheap camera I can buy for pics to post? What do all the fitness influencers use? Is it their phones or an actual camera?
