Was having a great time, making great progress and had been hitting the gym for 3 months straight. Was doing back extensions one day and finished when I felt a tingling spot on the middle of my upper back between my scapula and spine. Went to ortho, told I likely had a pinched nerve. Never hurts, always just a dull pressure or a tingling sensation. It’s 4 weeks later and to not ruin the routine of going to the gym I’ve been doing cardio and back stretches, but im honestly getting really down on myself and feel like im losing tons of progress and have no idea if im a week or another month or two from even remotely being able to start upper body in the mean time.

Any one else gone through something similar? Any advice?
