Can you add a leg exercise on a different day without affecting results?

I follow the PPL routine from r/fitness and have been chipping away. I'm a very thin and skinny guy trying to improve my physique. As much as I'm making slow but steady progress with leg work, my glutes are practically the same size as ever.

I looked into adding an extra exercise to boost glute size and decided on barbell thrusts (3x8-12). I can really feel the effect of these after my sets.

Thing is, leg days are hard enough as is, so it's tough adding on another exercise on top. If I were to perform this one exercise on, say, pull day, would that affect results? Does it need to follow other glute work on leg day to reach its full potential? Thanks
