Premise: This story is a variation on the 1996 “A Brief Mistake” story by Artemis. The main plot points are the same: At a party, a guy meets a charismatic woman claiming to be a witch. He calls her out, agrees to get a spell cast on him, gets temporarily enslaved and then...

The audio in this post is the stand-alone Part 1 of the script and recounts the main characters' first meeting, him getting caught under her spell, and riding off into the night with her.

🎧 ...stranger danger...

It doesn't even matter that you don't understand half of what she's saying to you. You just enjoy the sound of her voice.

And as you’re lying there on the soft and comfortable grass. As you look at the stars high above you, at a cloud idly drifting by, at her medallion swaying gently in front of you...

You feel… content. At peace. You focus on her voice, as she keeps talking to you, in that wonderfully soft and soothing tone.

And at some point, you find yourself gazing at the medallion dangling above you. It's a fascinating piece of jewelry. The way the gemstone catches the moonlight… it's captivating.

You can't keep your eyes off of it. You doubt it's got anything to do with that spell of hers, but you do feel good. Calm and relaxed.

You try to focus on what she's saying, but her words are all starting to blend together. You let her voice wash over you, and let your thoughts drift.

You so feel so very good...
