LORE: The Echidna was a figure in classical Greek mythology that birthed many of the famous monsters, such as Cerberus, the Nemean Lion and Charybdis. Her husband was Typhon, the most fearsome and powerful monster ever. She is portrayed as a type of lamia (snake woman) — from the waist up, a normal human woman... but instead of legs, she is endowed with a a long, powerful snake tail which she uses to coil around her mate, binding him.
Echidnas construct sprawling dungeons, filled with non-lethal traps and invite other species of monstergirls to populate it. Then they spread rumors in human society, claiming that great rewards and treasures lie at the bottom of the dungeon. Human adventurers and dungeoneers flock to the area, seeking to find fortune and glory.
If a human male can make it all the way to the bottom—past the levels with the other monster girls — then he alone deserves the honor of mating with an echidna. Most of the adventurers fail at the first floor, ill-prepared for the realities of dungeon raids.
No one has ever made it down to her level. Until now.
