Part Four: The Piano Man
I was out of leads. And soon I would be out of time.
So, I might as well drink like there was no tomorrow.
Our beautiful Detective is in despair. With the subtle hint given to her by the Fortune Teller, she figured she had a good, solid lead as to the whereabouts of the kid's missing sister; however, her search has turned up empty. No sign of the sister, no lead on the kid's killer... and as the clock ticks down, she feels her time slipping away.
So, she does what any self-respecting Private Eye would do: goes in search of comfort in the best place she knows... the local bar. She's friends with the Bartender there... maybe he can make her forget all of her troubles, even for just a little while.
This is the forth of a series written by the very lovely, very creative u/totallynotnatalie.
And in case you need to catch up:
Part Three: The Fortune Teller
Enjoy,
