It's Christmastime. And you know what that means. It's time for Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, which quite often feature the big-city woman falling for the small-town guy and his simpler lifestyle.

But what if she was onto that trope, and was willing to do anything to avoid it? Maybe she'd even bring a friend along as a "decoy boyfriend." Of course, they'd need to practice being a couple before they could convince anyone else. Surely that won't lead anywhere, right?

This script tries to spoof some of the Hallmark movie tropes, while embracing some others.
