Hi folks,

I am AggravatingRead and I'm a rookie writer hoping to get my first script up tomorrow. In addition to introducing myself, I wanted to ask a few questions:

  1. How do you know when you're overdirecting in a script? There are so many talented VAs on here that I don't want to stifle anyone's creativity. Any advice on how to walk the line between too much and too little direction?
  2. How do you cut your script down? I'm a person who enjoys long audios and needs a bit of in-character buildup to a sex scene. It seems that's a turn-off for many VAs (and I'm trying to turn them on dammit!) How do you keep a script fun and interesting without going too long?
  3. Is there anything you wish you knew when you started? I've been reading some of the guides and old threads on this topic, but I'd love anything you have to add.

I'd appreciate any advice you're willing to give! Here's wishing everybody a sexy day or night!
