I'm writing a script that's currently two "firsts" for me. It's my first JOI script, and my first script set in "space." And that got me thinking to a pretty big question: What are the elements of a good story-based JOI and/or SI?
Non-story JOIs seem more straightforward. Speaker tells listener what to do. End of script and/or audio. But with the story-based ones, it seems like you have a very important question to answer: "Why are they doing this instead of just having some form of sex?"
I've come up with a pretty good answer for my upcoming script, but I'd love to know:
- What do you think needs to be included in such a script?
- What answers for "the big question" have you come up with, plot-wise?
