This script is ideal for a collab where you don’t have to both be present, as the parts can be recorded separately in a bedroom ambience.
There are two characters, THE MOTHER and THE DAUGHTER. The listener plays a guest at a party (closer to the daughter’s age) who is seduced by both, a little bit like an old-fashioned farce! The two parts do not interact much if at all, and definitely not sexually. This is not *that* script!
"Mother" is more knowing, confident and dominant in tone while "Daughter" is more bratty. Both are quite forward, not dommy fully but certainly in control of the scenario! Ideally they should be played by two quite similar but not identical voices. Because the scenes are essentially a series of solo mini-scripts and there’s no interaction, it would be possible to play both parts if you can stay in character or keep the voices different!
FX: All optional, but a general household door, some party sounds and maybe some rustling clothes will serve you well. This script does not require the performers to be in the same room/time to record their parts.
