I admit this is a bizarre question, but I had a script idea and wanted some feedback before I spent too much time thinking about it. (I'll give more details in the comments if anyone wants them.)
Is anyone here a fan of the game Stellaris? And if so, what sort of charater concepts do you think would be cool to implement in a script?
Spoilers that will only make sense to someone who played: The performer/listener are both officers on a Titan. The Admiral (performer) just finished giving an inspiring speech to their fleet hours before they make the jump to the Contingency core world (also a great time for worldbuilding for folks who don't know the setting. They talk about their anxieties over the mission, losses they've had during the Contingency crisis, and possibly their fears over other galactic events (Galactic Imperium being formed, the ethics of other Empires, etc.) And once the mushy stuff is over, Xeno-Compatibility ensues.
I was thinking of having each be from a different species, and perhaps each "empire" they're from chose a different ascension path (Psionic v Synthetic v Biological). And since alien species go so many different ways, here is where I wanted most of the advice.
Thanks in advance for any input!
