Ok, so I guess I'll limit to GWA type writing (but you don't have to). I don't mean a completed script because I don't need anyone to judge their stuff harshly. But did you ever start writing something, and then realize "OMG, no"?
My two examples. First is the line. "I’ll rip out the soft flesh of your throat and feast on it as a wolf with the lascivious jack rabbit she caught." Tried to make the 19th century gentlewoman version of "I'll murder you, MFer."
Second is a story name Bobbi and Me. I had just watched a bunch of Brooklyn 99 and then tried to write my idea of a female literary agent "casting couch" a new author, but not really in a dom or rape way but a sweet "I love your sexy creative brain" way. IDK. But I wanted to write it like a sitcom, or even a lame sitcom, including the fact the listener *thought* he was meeting a man named Bobby, and a secondary character that was a QAnon supporter. Got part way, put it away for the night. The next day, I was like, wtf is this? So many disparate ideas that didn't work together. And I sometime cringe when I see it in my stories folder.
