Happy Holidays! This really and truly is my favorite time of year and when a friend (ahem, u/fischji) suggested this script idea, the wheels immediately started turning. Do please mind the tags this time--there is alcohol involved in this script and, while no one is incredibly drunk or anything, alcohol use complicates consent and both of those things can be triggering for some. Otherwise, very on brand with my usual sappy romance. I hope you all enjoy this one!
Background: You are having a holiday party tomorrow night! You went to the store to get everything you need, including ingredients for eggnog, but you’ve never made it before. Luckily for you, your next door neighbor spotted you coming home from the store and, while chatting, revealed that her grandmother has a great eggnog recipe! She agreed to come over and help you figure it out.
Scenario: You and your next door neighbor are attempting to make eggnog following her grandmother’s recipe--which, of course, includes an inordinate amount of alcohol. You two decide you’d better taste test it before serving it at your party.
