A human knight is assigned to escort the Demon Princess from the border of the Demon Kingdom to the human capital to sign a peace treaty which will end the long war between demons and humans. She couldn't care less about the knight, after all he's just another human and she thinks they're all the same. She just wants to get it over with as fast as possible so demons and humans can go back to staying out of each other's way. However, after the knight rescues the Demon Princess from a near death accident they both end up lost in the forest together and have to depend on each other for survival. It is an experience which will challenge prejudices and awaken feelings she didn't know she could have.
