This year has been tough for many, and I hope you’re doing okay. For me, this place has been my balm where I’ve discovered such amazing people. I’ve lurked for so long and taken for granted all the fantastic content, but now as a contributor I am able to see things differently. I can see all the sweat and tears creators put in and I appreciate much more all of you, from the super talented ones, who’re easily my favourites and also the many others who exist on the periphery, so crazily underrated with so much talent to share. So here’s my last script for the year, a sweet and optimistic little story, to wish you the best for 2021.
Story
Let’s pretend there’s no pandemic. It’s the college year end party, everyone’s dressed up and having a blast. The popular girl is a singer and her best friend is a quiet nerd. They’ve liked each other for a long time but never realized it was mutual. Can they find a way to express their true feelings before their paths diverge forever? A sweet and hopeful little story for the new year (loosely inspired by the song “Eyes on Me - Final Fantasy VIII).
