I hope you had a lovely week! :) After the past month and a half, you have chosen some fun directions for this story to go--and today, we reach the first ending of the adventure.

Don't worry, though - if you're wondering what else there is, you'll be voting on what prior decision we start back at!

THE STORY SO FAR

You are in Crimson City - a gritty, CYOA cyberpunk setting. After the murder of the Artist, a Shadow Tide syndicate underboss, you discovered a rare meeting of four other underbosses. You followed two to rescue your captured partner, but got captured yourself--and made a deal with The Surgeon to let her take out the Vanguard Captain in exchange for The Shade (The leader of the Shadow Tide syndicate) and your freedom.

After waking up in a safe house with your Captain, she debriefed you--until the Surgeon attacked. You warned the captain--in turn, betraying the surgeon. The Surgeon was put on death row, and your partner was discovered to have gone berserk in sector 6 and was sentenced to life in prison.

Judge Rose gave you a choice--Release your partner, or take the Surgeon off death row, and possibly release her.

The majority decided to RELEASE YOUR PARTNER.

Now, you'll see what your decision brings. I hope you enjoy the final step in your journey.

THE SCRIPT

You aided in the escape of your partner in prison, and it seems some from the Shadow Tide syndicate wanted your partner dead. However, due to some infighting between the unknown force and Firemaw's gang, you're able to escape to a safe house for you and your partner.

You discuss her experiences. Why she did what she did.

In the end, she confesses how she feels for you.
