The listener is a middle-aged family man in the 1970s who has gone with his wife to a party at the home of one of his old army buddies. Said army buddy is hosting the party with his younger, sexy and flirtatious wife, a woman in her mid-to-late 20s named Joy. She eventually corners the listener in the bathroom, where she reveals that her and the army buddy are swingers, and this is a key party. As is the nature of such parties, she doesn't know if she'll end up going home with the listener, but she loves an older man just has to have the listener. Being a more conservative married man, he's of course uncertain about entering the lifestyle, but finds that Joy's sexy young body can be very persuasive...
I do love me a period piece, and this one was a lot of fun. Joy may be one of my favorite speaker characters I've come up with. She's uninhibited and super sexually free, but in her own way is also very sweet. She loves sex, and she loves to give pleasure. I am working on a sequel to this one, but that's for another time.
