On the outskirts of a neon-infused dystopia, a couple find themselves holed up in a decrepit motel after a heist gone horribly wrong. With their friends dead, a giant mega-corporation out for their blood, and with nothing to show for it, the couple initially blame each other for their predicament, but soon come to realise that this may be their last moments together and decide to spend it in the embrace of the one they love instead of wallowing in hatred and despair.

So this is a thing. I had originally drafted up around 3 other completely different plot summaries for what would become my first script, when this idea just barged in and demanded that I draft it up. I think it was the point where my brain was coming up with dialogue lines for key moments before I had even gotten started that I realised I may be onto something.
I've tried my hardest to adapt my normal narrative style to the GWA format, and I think I got most of it in, it just took some adjustment to have to write one person saying two dialogue lines at times. I hope it all comes across as being somewhat coherent.
Also, it's a very... shouty script in the first section. There's a lot of extreme emotional states in there. I think I've gotten most of the tags in, but if there's any more that people recommend, lemme know and I'll add them in.
BUT NOW. IT BEGINS: This City is Going to Kill Us, Babe
Also hi. I'm Delacroix. I do the writing thing. I probably should have done an introduction post, but the City kept calling.
