Hello all! I've done anything incorrectly, please let me know so I can make the necessary adjustments. Comments and feedback are always greatly appreciated. I'm always learning!
Personal Stuffs: When I wrote this script, it was with a very dear friend in mind. They have been amazingly supportive of my script writing, and I wanted to write something that would resonate with both them, and their audience. As the script progressed however, we mutually decided that this story was something special and should be shared with GWA and made available to all creators. I sincerely hope you all fall in love with this script as much as we did.
Summary: You lost your grandmother a few months back, and even though you’re doing a little better, your emotions will still catch up with you sometimes. You mentioned that the upcoming weekend was going to be hard for you since it was her birthday, and your coworker invited you over to his place so you wouldn’t be alone. You’re greeted at the door by him and two very inquisitive cats, and are surprised to see his home covered in plants and books of poetry. The smell of hot coffee and baking bread permeates the space and you can’t help it when your tummy rumbles. When you’re served a slice of bread, still warm from the oven, slathered in melting butter and glistening honey, the first bite feels like a warm embrace. After sharing an emotionally vulnerable moment, suddenly you’re looking at your coworker in a way that you never imagined, wondering how it might feel to be wrapped up in those large, surprisingly gentle arms.
Content Warning: Brief mentions of death and loss in the family, please be advised as this content may be triggering to some listeners.

Notes: You have carte blanche to change dialogue if it doesn’t sound right to you, expand on things if they don’t make sense, gender flip the characters, etc. Put your own spin on it, this is more of a guideline than a firm script. All I ask is that you keep to the spirit of the script and run major changes by me before recording and/or posting. You are also welcome to do as many or as few of the SFX as you want. These are just suggestions based on what I think would make the script a bit more immersive. Thank you in advance! - B
