Summary
You have been caught in a blizzard. You have lost your supplies and got split up from your group a long time ago. One minute you resign yourself to freezing to death, the next you are being carried into an isolated cabin. Your rescuer seems harmless at first but itās becoming clear he is looking for a reward for his ākindnessā.
Speaker Notes
I am writing this speaker as a gruff mountain man who will take any human interaction, by force if he needs to. He feels entitled to the listener because he saved her and his mask slips when he realizes that the encounter is not going as planned. He tries to get to the listener under the pretenses of concern but the listener is wise to his game and starts to pull away. He gets angrier and meaner with a coldness that is intimidating.
Listener notes
The listener is a woman who is stuck between choosing to freeze or accepting hospitality from someone that physically dominates her who is growing more unhinged. She is not a push over and can read in between the lines as the speaker fusses over her, but realizes she is in an impossible situation. The speaker wears her down as the audio continues.
Writer Notes
Hey everyone Iām here with a brand new script! I wanted to toy around the idea of being coerced by someone who would weaponize generosity to get something out of the listener. I am paying special attention to plotting and tension building in this script. Also be warned this one is pretty mean. When the speaker canāt soften up the listener with ākindnessā he gets personal.
This script is a bit tough because I have a history of feeling I owe people just because they show me the bare minimum of kindness. That need to give up a part of yourself or you feel like a bad or selfish person is a pattern I think a lot of us relate to. If someone expects payment for an act no matter how generous, it was not done in good faith. Your boundaries are yours and you donāt owe anyone an explanation.
As always constructive criticism is always welcome. VAs as usual SFX are optional. If there you feel like a different tone, pet names or direction is more suitable to your style by all means make adjustments.

Due to the heaviness of the topic please mind the tags and proceed with caution.
If you would like to read something that is dark and fluffy please proceed here.
If you would like to see more I have my other scripts linked as well.
