Premise:A powerful mage has been protecting a kingdom from demonic invasions, but the artifact he has been using to do so has started to fail. He suspects the demons are responsible somehow, but is unable to find out how. At his witsβ end, he decides to summon a succubus to interrogate. He has taken every possible precaution against her fiendish magics, but discovers not all threats are magical in nature.
Script
Word count: it's complicated (2100 to 3500 words)
I wanted to write something for GWN's RavenTales event , and this is what I came up with. It started off as a story about a careful, powerful mage succumbing to a succubus all the same. But then I started thinking about *why* a careful mage would summon a succubus, and the eternal romantic in me wanted to add a silver lining too, and so I ended up with the script in its current form.
It consists out of several parts, and all but one can easily be omitted. Specifically:
- (Optional) Scene setting. (400 words). It sets the scene and the stakes, and is required for the epilogue to make sense.
- Main script. (2100 words). The mage summons the succubus, is implied to fall under her spell, and ends up in her claws. It makes for an implied "bad ending", with the mage blacking out and at her mercy.
- (Optional) Explicit sex scene (300 words). Pretty self-explanatory. It ends with the mage being "drained", so a little more ambiguously.
- (Optional) silver lining epilogue (750 words, requires the scene setting part) . This sees the succubus having a change of heart, opting to make the mage her pet instead of dooming the world.
It was inspired by GigglingGoblin's "Good Intentions".
My eternal gratitude goes out to u/POVscribe for betareading. This script would have ended up much different without your feedback, not to mention a lot clunkier. Thank you!
I hope you enjoy reading, and any and all feedback is very welcome!
