I’ve been a lurker of GWA for months now after I discovered my first erotic audio. Yeah you heard me! I listened to my first audio back in September or October I believe. I blame TikTok(well booktok to be exact). As someone who’s autistic with ADD, I’ve never been able to consume audio media like audio books and podcasts (How do people do that?? My brain can’t keep up with the words). As a book lover who enjoys doomscrolling on the Tok app, I shouldn’t have been surprised when a certain popped up on my feed. One of my favorite dark romance reviewers reacted to a spicy audio snippet by a popular narrator and it’s safe to say that I’ve been going down the rabbit hole ever since.

I’ve been a novelist and screenwriter for years (being creative is one of my passions!) but I’ve never considered dabbling in writing erotic audio scripts until I realized I needed another outlet. My mental health has been declining a bit and my psychiatrist recommended finding a new hobby so I thought why not this? It’s not technically new, but it is new territory I can focus on a bit to take my mind off of things. Plus I recently joined the bdsm/kink community so I’m learning more about myself sexually, something I’ve been terrified of exploring due to being raised in a strict, Christian household.

This is a journey I’m ecstatic about taking and I can’t wait to get to know more of you! I have a few scripts I’m finishing up that should be ready to upload by next weekend. I will forewarn that everything I write is DARK. It’s my brand (and personal preference) and I’m sticking to it.

Anyway, that basically sums me up. Sorry for the rambling! I talk way to much when I’m nervous and excited which is basically what I’m feeling right now. Again, I hope to engage more with you all and I hope you all are taking care of yourselves because you deserve it🖤
