This is the living room, we’re going to have lots of fun in here. Look, I’ve already bought you some lovely toys to play with. Balls, fluffy mice, and this feathery thing on a string.

You can curl up at my feet as mommy watches her programmes, then when it’s time to play, we can have cute games together, can’t we kitten?

But no going on the furniture. That’s just for mommy and her friends. You can only go on the sofa if invited. If you’re a good little kitty, you can lay across my lap, and I’ll give you strokes and pets. Mmmm I’ll rub under your chin and scratch you behind your oooo-so-cute ears.
