"What’s that got to do with anything? Oh...because I’m black? Ugh yeah...good point...we’re usually the first to go...and that’s SO unfair! "

"Hey, I didn’t make the rules! "

Well...it’s not like YOU’RE going to make it either! "

"What do you mean? "

"Look at yourself, girl! Blonde hair, big boobs...I mean, fuck, you’re even a cheerleader! You couldn’t be more of a stereotypical bimbo if you tried! And you’ve been banging the football team captain before you’re married! That seals the deal! Sorry girl, but you're dead meat!"

Two young women have sought refuge from the slasher that’s on the rampage. As they lock the door to a bedroom and come to terms with what’s happened, they look at themselves and each other and realise that neither of them are the kind of person who usually survives a horror movie. Recriminations and bickering give way to a realisation that if this is their last night on earth, they may as well make the most of it. But will they survive the slasher movie tropes long enough to regret hooking up with their best frenemy?

One of the speaking characters is described as being black, and laments the trend for black characters not to make it to the end of horror movies. It's intended in a tongue-in-cheek way, just be aware that this does refer to an outdated trope with origins in racism.

This script has multiple endings, so choose which one you like, or record them both.

--Ending 1 (Bad End) involves the speakers being discovered by the slasher and implicitly killed.

--Ending 2 (Embarrassing End) Involves the speakers being discovered by the actual final girl and being told there’s no danger, leaving them agreeing to never speak of the events of this script again.

--Ending 3 is the same as 2, but with the final girl having some spoken dialogue. This could be another VA making a cameo, or one of the existing VA’s using a different voice.

I was trying to think of a twist on the slasher scenario for Halloween, and I thought that someone should spare a thought for the girls who are doomed by tropes to never make it to the end. What I ended up with was a bit experimental, but hopefully it comes across as intended! Feedback is welcome, as always.
