This multi-episode/single-universe story reflects a female perspective/gaze (emphasis on relationship, connection, sensuality, emotion, intimacy, pleasure), and is focused on mental health (role-modeling consent, safety & trust, respect, communication, boundary-setting, discussion of STIs & protection, gender & sexual orientation identity & expression, sex & body positivity, inclusivity, healing from trauma).

The premise of this episode is that Wander Woman and the listener character (her oldest friend of 30 years, Lonely Leader) become lovers for the first time.

LL is described as Afro-Brazilian, a bottom/switch, new to dating, and with a taller & larger body type than WW. WW is French-Canadian, a top/switch, and shorter & smaller in stature than LL.

They are polyamorous comets and FWBs, but this does not mean hook-ups, booty calls and no-strings-attached-sex. FWB for them means a very long-term and close friendship first and foremost, that also includes deep emotional intimacy, romantic attachment, and a sexual relationship. But they see each other only occasionally and do not have formal commitments to each other beyond their friendship.
