we fall from heaven, just for some time away
for me to spend with you,
to spend like dollar bills
burned up by our passion
something simple, something sweet
to hold in our hands,two hearts beating in time
mine, joined with yours,
something warm and something sweet
honey-like, honeysuckle on the tongue
suckling away at you.
your mouth on mine
your mouth, lower
my mouth on yours
my mouth, lower
some fading time
fading like the stars I'll make you see
breathless, you gasping
out meaningless words
each breath a dollar bill
burning in the bedsheets
words warm and sweet
simple on the tongue,
your mouth on mine,
our mouths, lower,
joining until we burn
like stars that you see
in a meaningless time
fading until we fall
from heaven.
