I'm having such a blast hosting the GWAB Karaoke Challenge! I'm constantly in awe of the participation and talent each and every month! So THANK YOU to all that participated, listened, and interacted! At the end of the day, we are all searching for things to bring us joy and this is certainly doing that for me...hope it is for you all too! If you missed all the amazing talent and pure fun we had last month, check it out!

I am excited to continue to help inspire and organize some of these themes as we spread some talent, content, and good vibes in this community through the gift of song!

If you've never heard of GWAB Karaoke Challenges before, well...

It's a themed FUN challenge we introduce at the beginning of each month. Check out Last Month's Theme to get the idea! I emphasize FUN because it doesn't matter you are a Singer or a "Singer"! We welcome any and all singers at any and all levels!

If singing brings you joy, by golly I wanna hear you have fun!

Remember...you can't be Shy...I'm Chi! (JK...you can be...you do you...but if you someone looking for some gentle encouragement to step into the spotlight...consider this my nudge)

GWAB Karaoke Theme for November is...🥁

🎤 Open Mic 🎤

For this month (sorry this is so late) I figure it's a bit late for people to submit a song to fit within a theme, so this month is Open Mic. Any song you care to submit of you singing is welcome in this month's Karaoke challenge! Reposts are aloud for this month, so feel free to repost up to 2 of your favorite past performances if you want!

When reserving your song, PLEASE include the Title, Artist, and Songwriter credit.

HERE'S HOW TO PLAY

Comment on this post requesting to reserve a song that fits this month's theme. You can reserve up to 2 songs per username. Reservations will be published below as a table on a first come, first serve basis. Any songs you all pick will be listed here, and in an effort to stop fourteen versions of the same from populating the karaoke bar, we only allow one version of a song per language per solo singer, so get your songs/versions reserved ASAP!

Collaborations are more than welcome! Collaborations do not count against the 2 song limit.

Comment on your initial reservation comment on this post with one of the two following links:

A) a direct link to your submission using whatever audio hosting site you frequent (i.e. Soundgasm, etc.) Use this option if you don't wish to link to a post you made on either your userpage or other subreddit.

B) a link to your submission that you posted to your userpage, r/GWABacktage, or other subreddit. PLEASE: If you do this, please link THIS post to yours to help promote this challenge and the fellow singers who submitted.

If you don't provide a link to your post in the comments below, it is not my responsibility to locate it.

DEADLINES

The closing date for this GWAB Karaoke Challenge is 11:59pm on Sunday, December 4th 2022 in UTC/GMT. While this is not a hard deadline, a "That's a Wrap" Post will be posted the following day ^{(HOPEFULLY 😬}) and focus will shift to next month's theme. This means we will no longer update the chart so if you wish to have your work shared via that post, ensure you submit on or before the deadline.
