Hey y'all, just wondering if people would be interested in a technical Q&A or guide particularly around recording, gear, basic use of effects such as reverb, compression, limiters and other editing/mixing/mastering tips.
As a community it doesn't seem like there's much info collated specifically geared towards VA's and instead if someone wanted to learn this stuff they'd have to go searching elsewhere. Perhaps something we could work on together as a community to get a list of best practices/tips and tricks down?
Do people feel like this is a need or might add value and improve the content coming out of GWA as a whole? Would love to hear people's thoughts on this or just kind of see if anyone had some general questions they could post here to ask, (maybe an ongoing monthly thread since this place is pretty slow? I know there's one post for this already in the pinned guides section but its over a year old and the last comment/answer were 7 and 5 months ago respectively)
Ah fuck IDK how i marked this NSFW on accident sorry yall I'm not used to using the new-reddit interface and bungled this one real good.
