Hey all! I'm still working on my second song for this month's GWABK, but I just recently finished making a parody that I wanted to share with you all!

I used to work night shift at a 24 hour convenience store, and as such, during the wee hours of the morn, there was naught to do but listen to the store radio while prepping thingd for the morning shift. One day, I heard the song 1985 by Bowling For Soup. As a classic rock lover, I adored all the references they had snuck in there from the 80s. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized...I have my own little era that I remember like it were just yesterday. I may have been only 10 at the time, but that's old enough to be downloading songs from Limewire on to my iPod and navigating endless playlists of miscategorized songs with nothing but a click wheel.

It was a different time, man.

I hope you all like this! I'm super proud of it (both the lyrics and vocals, usually it's just one or the other LMAO), and I hope most of you can find it as relatable as I do, haha.
