D0ntlookatmelikethat's responses to ChiLittleWolf's Curious Questions for Scriptwriters
Post Body

Hello, beautiful people looming behind the curtain! It's me, Don't!

I saw u/ChiLittleWolf put out this wonderfully thoughtful questionnaire for all of us writers, and I thought I would take a crack at answering it.

  1. Breeding your super-villainess archnemesis with AND without her consent! CW:>! Rape!<
  2. Two, actually! I have a somewhat story heavy trilogy of scripts that currently lacks a finale, but I’m kinda waiting until at least the first one gets filled for me to write the third. The first one is called At the beginning our Quest, My Friend, I will face you. Its follow-up is entitled In the Middle of our Journey, My Confidant, I will face myself. The final part will be At the End of our Adventure, My Love, We will face Eternity. When I write it, I'll link it here!
  3. Three scripts in progress, currently fighting off a bout of writer’s block but I’m working on all of them consistently.
  4. Yes, here’s the link!
  5. I write both, although I currently have more NSFW scripts at the moment. Both are so enjoyable to write, so I just write to be accurate to the characters as I envision them. I try not to cram sexual content into a script where it wouldn't make sense.
  6. I want to do a Slow Burn Strangers to Lovers. Maybe a multi-part script that would see the two meeting and eventually dropping some heavy L Bombs. [Free Use] and [Hypnosis] are also tags that I'm currently taking a look at.
  7. Of course! I always welcome VAs to post their fills under my script offers. I even link to their reddit posts so that more people can see them!
  8. Nope! I actively discourage such behavior. I’m glad that people enjoy my scripts, but I know that being a VA can be a very notification-heavy hobby and I don’t want to pile onto that.
  9. I don’t mind it at all! All I ask is to be notified first.
  10. I personally won’t do it, but I don’t mind the writing and/or filling of a genderflipped version of my scripts. Again, just let me know!
  11. It’s in my little script disclaimer! All edits are allowed, large or small.
  12. Yes, as long as I’m notified and credited as the author. Most of my SFW scripts are published to YouTube, and I’m super okay with that!
  13. No expectations whatsoever! I know audio editing can be a real pain, so they’re mostly just suggestions to help set the scene. All you need to fill one of my scripts is your lovely voice :)
  14. I like to know when a VA is working on a script beforehand, but I don’t need or require a preview hearing.
  15. Yes! I’m always down to talk about scripts and such. If you’re a VA looking to fill and you want to ask me a question or anything, hit me up! My DMs are always open.
  16. I looooooooove filling prompts and requests. It makes me feel like a horny word genie.
  17. A combination of GWA, manga and lewd, lingering thoughts that… sorry, where was I?
  18. As a writer who focuses mostly on dialogue, READ THE SHIT! Out loud! I know, it’s porn. It doesn’t have to be Shakespeare, but there are very few things that can take a listener out of an audio faster than awkward dialogue. At least if it’s not meant to be awkward. Also, remember that this is a hobby. You should be having fun when you write. If you aren’t, take a break! Stress is bad for the mind and the script, so take it easy!
  19. Pacing is important! Most of my scripts are pretty dialogue heavy and have asterisks to indicate a pause for the Listener to make a response. Of course, I’m not expecting you to have multiple minutes of dead air, but a brief pause to give the Listener some time to reflect on the last line will make it so much more enjoyable. You all have such wonderful voices, and we want to hang on each and every word. So there’s no need to rush!
  20. I’m an A3O user, but I used to just post the entire script within the offer post itself. I’m glad those days are over, as it’s so much easier to navigate a post when there aren’t ~1500 words in the way!
  21. I would like better paste formatting support in A3O. I write in Word and it always bungs up the spacing up for some reason. So I have to mash enter between lines whenever I upload a script.
  22. Honestly, just coming up with the characters and scenarios for each of my scripts is so charming to me. Like, I was actually giggling to myself when I was writing my Introvert Girlfriend scripts. I found the character strangely adorable, even though it was me controlling her words and actions.
  23. [Yandere] and [Breeding] spring to mind. I’m a switch personally, but I usually find myself enjoying/writing [FDom] more often. Oh, and lots and lots of [L Bombs]!
  24. I seem to have a shared favorite with the community. My most popular script also happens to be (in my opinion) my best work: Your Girl Best Friend wants your heart (and your babies).
  25. A bit more than seven months for GWA, but I used to write little dialogue chops for characters long before I even discovered Reddit.
  26. The pain we share in between is a script that deals with both characters getting dumped and eventually coming to realize that they love each other. Honestly, I don’t think I did a super great job on this one, and it’s a prime contender for me to ‘remaster’, as it were. I want to make it a bit longer, and a lot more emotional. I don’t think that there’s enough of a build-up in the current script, so I definitely want to take another look at it soon.
  27. I am currently experiencing writer’s block. I’ll let you know how that goes, boss. Right now, I'm taking a break from anything writing-related and just jotting down ideas so I can spring back into it whenever I recover!
  28. Well, Sunsets u/Tolea1989 has definitely been a huge help in getting me to come out of my shell. She’s such a sweetheart and has made me so much more confident in both my writing abilities and voice. If you’re reading this, Sunsets, thank you so much for all you’ve done to help me become a better writer and (eventually) voice actor.
  29. Hell no! I will be dead in the ground before I ever stop listening to fills of my scripts. Fuck it, throw some headphones in the hole with me and I’ll keep listening.

Big thanks to Chi for creating these questions! This was a great little bit of self-reflection, and I'm so happy that I can share a little bit of my weird, pervy mind with all of you!
