I ran into the character limit on a comment when replying to the original post (what can I say? I like writing!), so I figured I'd follow Ryan's lead and post my answer in a separate thread.

Thanks for all the interesting questons, u/ChiLittleWolf!

  1. What was your first script you ever posted?

Oh heavens, do I have to? It was The Hottie Down the Hall. It isn't good, and hasn't been filled.

  1. Is there an unfilled script you are secretly pining to be filled?

I'm lucky because I think most of my favorite scripts that I've written have been filled. I suppose at this point I would name I Can't Stand You. Now Fuck Me!, an enemies-to-lovers parody that I think is very entertaining. It'd be fun to see it filled.

  1. How many works-in-progress do you currently have?

Oh jeez, at least a dozen. Maybe twice that. I tend to write when inspired, and toss off a script fairly quickly. If I lack inspiration, I'll get 1000 words (or 10) into a script then leave it sitting in my scripts folder unfinished. At some point I go back and force myself to finish them.

  1. Do you have a script archive?

Yes, two, actually:

SFW Scripts

NSFW Scripts

  1. Do you tend to write SFW/NSFW/both?

One of the pleasant surprises I had upon joining GWA was finding that I really like writing SFW scripts.

One of my SFW scripts, which was inspired by a request on GWA, is I Offer You Dreams, a sleep aid script in which the speaker is the personification of sleep and demands to be your lover. It has been filled a dozen times and posted to YouTube at least a half dozen. If you're interested in how fascinatingly different fills can be, one to the next, I invite you to listen to some of the fills of this script (links to all fills are in my script archives). Every VA brings their own interpretation to it -- some are gruff and demanding, some are soft and sweet, one even includes ocean sounds that extend the short script to a full hour. It is the quintessential example of why I love writing scripts: to see the variety of interpretations that VAs bring to them.

  1. Is there a Genre or Tag you want to write but haven’t yet?

This is easy. M4F. Every script I've written so far is F4M, F4F, or A4A. I have made a few uninspired stabs at M4F scripts and I really want to finish one up.

  1. Do you like it when VAs tag their fills to your script post?

I don't really care about this, so long as I'm made aware of the fill.

  1. Do you like it when listeners tag VAs they want to see fill your script?

No. Honestly, I don't think this has ever happened to me. But I don't like it when I see it on other scripts.

  1. What are you rules about using your scripts for paywall content?

From my script archive: "In general I'm fine with using my scripts on paid sites like Patreon, pornhub, etc. Please contact me first for permission (unless you're a VA who has blanket permission from me)."

  1. What about doing gender flipping of your scripts?

I've never done one myself, nor had one done to a script of mine, but I would absolutely love both to do it with my own script, and to have someone else do it with a script of mine.

  1. How about making any other changes to your scripts

I am totally flexible. I view what we do as a collaborative art, that is what makes it so much fun, and so much different than writing fiction. Please, make any changes you want. Anything major, it'd probably be good to talk with me about, but I doubt I would be upset even about that, the most likely exception being making a consensual script into a noncon one. Even then, I'd probably be okay with it.

  1. Do you allow your scripts to be filled on platforms outside of Reddit?

Yes.

  1. If you put SFX suggestions in your scripts, is there an expectation for them to be added to the audio or are they there to just help create the scene to those who simply read the script

All of my SFX suggestions are entirely optional.

However, I do occasionally write a script that is fairly SFX heavy and I think would suffer from not having the SFX. I have just started doing audio editing so I am happy to work with the VA on SFX.

  1. Do you like sneak peaks when a VA fills a script or do you prefer to gain access when through the post?

I don't mind a "sneak peak" but I don't think there's a lot of point to them, either. I'm not ever going to tell a VA, "change this or that before you post it."

  1. How do you prefer people to reach out to you if they have a question about one of your scripts?

Reddit chat or PM is best.

  1. Do you enjoy writing prompts?

Yes, I'm always looking for ideas. Bring on the requests and the writing prompts!

  1. Where do you go to get your inspiration?

It's so hard to say. Ideas seem to come out of the blue. Someone says something to me, and my brain fills with a script.

I think probably the best answer would be, "Everyday life."

  1. What’s the biggest tip you have for new Writers starting out?

For script writing in particular, don't pay much attention to numbers (upvotes on scripts are meaningless!), and don't get too frustrated if you don't get fills. They will come, especially as you get more experienced.

For writing in general? If you're having trouble with "writer's block," the best solution is to just keep writing. Force yourself to write paragraph after paragraph of pure shit. That's why we do second drafts. Eventually, your fingers stop making shit and start making gold, or at least silver plating, and all the best writing happens in the second draft, anyway.

Now, if I could just follow my own advice...

  1. What’s the biggest piece of advice you can give VAs who fill your scripts?

Put your own personality into them as best you can. I write scripts because I love to see what VAs will do when they fill them, and the best part of script writing is the pleasant surprise of something unexpected.

  1. What platform do you use to post your scripts? (i.e. Scriptbin, GoogleDoc, AO3, Pastgasm)

I post to both scriptbin and AO3.

  1. Is there a feature on these platforms that you would like to see but isn't available?

No, not really.

  1. What’s your favorite part about writing?

I love creating characters. I love using words to impart a personality on a made up person. If I could forgo plot entirely and just write about people, I would be the happiest writer on Earth!

Words are fun, too. Stringing words together to try to create something that sounds beautiful is a lot of fun.

I really could go on forever. I love writing. It is the most fulfilling thing that there is.

  1. What’s your favorite Genre/Tags to write?

Humor, I think, is probably the one that comes to mind the most right now. I think my favorites change a lot, often driven by what I'm working on right now.

Also, SFW GFE with a small nod to ASMR.

  1. Do you have a “favorite” script?

Right now I'll go with A Private Lesson about Sex and Literature. Ask me next week, it'll be something else. :)

  1. How long have you been writing?

I write professionally (business writing) and have been doing so for a couple decades, and fiction for about the same I suppose.

  1. What’s the most challenging script you’ve written so far?

I suppose I'd say Alien College Student Extracts Your Seed for Science, since it is very SFX-heavy and that required a lot of research to find recommended SFX. I'm actually currently providing editing for a fill of it, to add all the binaural SFX, so look for it in the near future. I hope it will be fun!

  1. Have you experienced writers block? How did you overcome it?

Oh god. I just try to slog through it. Always trying to write, even when you think what you're writing is boring crap, is really important and is the only solution to writer's block that exists.

  1. Do you have a mentor or someone you look up to in the community?

Oh heavens yes. I think they know already who they are, so I won't trouble them with mentions.

  1. Do you ever get tired of hearing script fills?

Nope. I love every fill I've ever heard of my scripts.
